Dr. Constantinos Laghios was born on January 22, 1958, in Agrinio, Greece.
In 1977 Joined Athens Dental School.
From 1984 to 1994 he practiced general dentistry with emphasis on Aesthetics and Prosthetics.
From 1994 to 1997 he joined the three Year Endodontic Program at Baylor College of Dentistry, in Dallas Texas USA, where he received the certificate in Endodontics and a Master’s degree.
On May 13, 1995, in Orlando, Florida, USA, he receives a prize award at the world congress of the American Association of Endodontists.
In 1997 his research for his Master degree was ranked among the 3 top research works of young scientists in Europe, and he got a prize award at the European Conference of Endodontists in Gothenburg, Sweden, where he also presents.
In March 2008 he participated in the six month Training Program of Oral Diagnosis and Radiology at the Athens Dental School, having as subject: Radiological Protection, RadiographicTechnique, Radiodiagnostics.
Guest Speaker of the American Association of Endodontists.
To date he has been awarded honorary titles for his contribution to the progress of science and to the developments in the field of Endodontics.
Since 1997 he operates the Advanced Endodontic Center in the Athens Hilton Area, where he treats patients from all over Greece and abroad.
His passion for aesthetic and scientific perfection resulted in September 2010, his Medical Center to be hosted in the magazine “Greek Constructions” (March 2010), as an interactive space of high aesthetics, technological excellence and excellent functionality, having the capacity to host as a clinic the most demanding and advanced procedures and operations.
He has delivered lectures and “hands on” courses in Greece as well as in other countries all over the world (refer to the detailed Participations in Conferences) where he advance Endodontics, dental restoration, as well as the use of the Surgical Microscope.
His articles have been published in Greek and International magazines.
His methods of treatment have been published in the official textbook of the American Association of Endodontists “Pathways of the Pulp” as well as in other textbooks in Europe and USA.
Guest speaker for the graduate students at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and oat Baylor College of Dentistry, Dallas, Texas.
Member of the Athens Dental Association and the American Association of Endodontists.
He has been member of the GIDE/UCLA Scientific Team, with many lectures and video projections in the Implantology training program. He has also been member of the Βerlin oral implantology Master Program.
He has been Scientific publisher of the Endo-Perio journal
Founding Member of the Hellenic Association of Endodontists.
Founder and President of the Greek Academy of Microscopic Dentistry.
Honorary President of the Non-Profit Organization “Bridge of Friendship”for social work and solidarity.
Member of the Hellenic Society for the Protection of the Environment and the Cultural Heritage.
Former President of Balcan Cultural association for the propagation of the Greek Language.
